1. Histotechnologist of the year is recommended to be someone currently contributing a supporting impact to the society and profession.

2. Must be a resident of North Carolina.

3. Must be an ASCP certified HT, HTL or eligible for these certifications. Proof of eligibility may be required.

4. Must be a member of NCSH.

5. Promotes the profession of histotechnology.

6. Participates or has participated in the state histology society.

7. Members who meet the criteria may not work in sales directly or indirectly.

8. A brief paragraph must accompany the ballot as to why you feel the candidate is deserving of the award.
