Welcome to the North Carolina Society of Histotechnology (NCSH), a professional community dedicated to supporting and advancing histology professionals throughout North Carolina.
Histology is an essential part of modern healthcare. Every day, histotechnologists and histotechnicians use specialized knowledge, technical skill, and attention to detail to prepare tissue specimens for microscopic examination. Their work provides the foundation for pathologists to identify disease and help guide patient care.
We believe the strength of histology comes from the people behind the science. Our Society brings those professionals together to learn, connect, share knowledge, and grow.
Our Mission
The mission of the North Carolina Society of Histotechnology (NCSH) is to support and advance the histology profession throughout North Carolina by providing:
